in 2010 the artist marina abramovic did a performing art piece at the museum of modern art. it was called "the artist is present". she sat on a chair and visitors of the museum, one by one, could take the seat opposite her and look into her eyes... without her knowledge her former love ulay arrived. they were together in the 70ies. at the end of their relationship they walked the great wall of china each from one end. in the middle they met and said goodbye forever... and then they met again...
